1Welcome

Vuqira is time tracking, rostering and timesheet approval software, made available by Automatorr (ABN 18 648 549 955), Sydney, NSW 2000, Australia. People record the hours they work and their approvers review them. Organisations that roster can also plan shifts, publish them, and record when people clocked in and out.

By using Vuqira you agree to be bound by this disclaimer, our terms of service and our privacy policy (together, the "terms").

2General Disclaimer

While every care is taken, we make no representations about the suitability, reliability, availability, timeliness, completeness and accuracy of anything contained in Vuqira for any purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Anything contained in Vuqira is provided "as is" without warranty or condition of any kind. You acknowledge and agree that you use it at your own risk.

Vuqira records what people tell it. We do not verify that a recorded hour was worked, that a note is accurate, or that an approval was given by somebody with the authority to give it. We take no responsibility for the validity or accuracy of any information entered into or produced by the service.

We will not be liable to you or any other person for any losses or damages arising as a result of your use of Vuqira, subject to applicable consumer law.

3The AI Assistant can be wrong

The assistant produces its answers using a language model. Language models make mistakes. It can misread what you asked, fill in a day differently from how you actually worked, or state something with confidence that is not correct.

It always reports what it changed. Read that before you rely on it. A timesheet drafted by the assistant is a draft, exactly like one typed by a person, and it goes through the same submission and approval steps for the same reason.

The checks Vuqira runs, such as flagging a day that does not match expected hours or that falls on a public holiday or on approved leave, are there to help a reviewer look in the right place. They are not an audit, and a day passing them does not mean it is correct.

If money is going to move because of a number in Vuqira, a human should have looked at that number.

4Vuqira is not a payroll system

Vuqira records how long people worked and what they worked on. It does not calculate:

  • Wages, salaries or hourly pay
  • Overtime, penalty rates, loadings or allowances
  • Tax, superannuation or any other statutory deduction or contribution
  • Leave accrual or entitlement balances
  • Award or enterprise agreement obligations of any kind, including rostering, rest break, maximum hours and shift-work provisions

The roster checks are not award interpretation. Vuqira can warn that two shifts clash, that the break between two shifts is short, that somebody is working several days in a row, that a week is over a number of hours you have set, or that somebody said they were unavailable. Every one of those is a rule you typed into Vuqira, checked arithmetically against the roster you built. None of them reads an award, an enterprise agreement, a shift-work provision or any other legal instrument, and we do not hold a copy of yours. A roster with no warnings on it is a roster that passed your own settings. It is not a lawful roster, and we do not say it is one.

Clocking in and out records a time that somebody entered. It is not verification that they were there, the late, early and overtime figures beside it are arithmetic against the planned shift rather than a decision about entitlements, and none of it calculates pay.

Recording hours or shifts in Vuqira does not make an organisation compliant with its employment obligations, and an approved timesheet is not evidence that somebody has been paid correctly. Those obligations rest with the organisation, and meeting them is its responsibility.

Wage theft is a serious offence in Australia. If you are unsure of your obligations, take your own advice, or contact the Fair Work Ombudsman at fairwork.gov.au.

5Availability

We make no guarantee that Vuqira will be available without interruption. Its availability depends on third party services as well as our own operations, and it may be unavailable from time to time, including for maintenance.

Keep your own copies of anything you would need if the service were unavailable when you needed it.

6External Link Disclaimer

Vuqira may contain links to websites operated by third parties, including our payment processor's billing portal and the invoice documents it hosts, and the Xero account your organisation has connected. Those linked sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for their contents. We are also not responsible for any form of transmission you receive from a linked site.

External sites may have different terms and privacy policies which are beyond our control. We encourage you to check the terms of those sites.
